Molten Amnesia
08:00
|
|||
Stagger through shifting lights,
Reds blur out peripherals
I sift through hazed grains of vapor
In the doorway of my drunken desperation, I am pulled to you.
Color leaves your figure
Mind, stained against the smoke layered carpet.
Waiting, beckoning, transparent...
your body blinks with every glimpse.
As our lungs compress
From the pressure of the heated air
We collapse.
From our very resistance, into a sea
Of molten amnesia
Our voices orchestrating the rhythms we tapped into a distant song.
We knew not the words, but the melodies became native.
We destroyed our shadows
I am a shadow no more
Diamond eyes reflect the light
The miasma in my heart erased
Diamond eyes reflect the light
I'm ashamed no more
Brighten my face.

Astray From Veins
06:19
|
|||
I am Bastille, my shell a vacant cell.
I am Bastille.
These are the machine's veins now.
And its eyes can't blink.
My thoughts astray.
Wires collect what was left of me
Embracing serums.
Echoing patterns of abortion instills.
I don't need the sun, the moon in separation.
I am Bastille, I don't need the sun.
I lay in a conscious sea
A sea of memories
None of them mine.

Bird Canopy Illusion
06:41
|
|||
I saw them fly
Back to their cage
Safe from the broken ground
Fly your way to a lie
Can't you hear it?
The groans of a dying machine?
Calling you, begging it to grind your wings to the bone.
Grind your wings to the bone
Look around you're not safe as you thought
Grind your wings to the bone

Wineglass II
05:03
|
|||
Spilling out cancer
Among empty receivers.
My screams travel through every unreachable corner in this cosmic body
Unheard infinity,
Even light must avoid
the abysmal pulling of my own chain
What you offer is not enough
Half full, then half empty.
Broken Wineglass spilling every lie
Seismic blasts right through tired eyes
Weighing overhead, weighing me down
Filling my lungs until I drown
Your love is not enough
Your love never fills the void in me

In Every Hand, An Ocean
09:45
|
|||
I forced this vessel
Too far within the maw of the sea
My foundation crumbles
as you call to me
But still, I follow
With a tired and trudging pace
I have to find you
Solitude I must escape
The calling nears, the storm bellows
And yet the waves, an omen I ignore
Fail to send me back.
Fail to send me back this time
This circle of preservation
Leads me back to a poisonous cycle
With a swipe of your hand
The ocean breaks my will
All my hearts blood
Contaminated with the filth
Null tides
My existence lies with you.

Violent Design
05:44
|
|||
It began with fear
Self inflicted wound
Burning our disease
Product of failure
Ashamed of its becoming
We reach for the silence
Echoing moans that beget such regret
Bring them to an end
They left us all to know peace of sleep
Bring them to an end
These cries have driven us
To a division stronger than any passion
We have broken love
Numb and bruised
Our next spite above
Is this all we've inherited?
The writhing anger of a broken god?
A grand shame
A violent design
We held on this long
To end your misery
Fulfilling our unspoken wish
Leave us to our oblivion
We kill
I dissolve
A grand violent design.

Phthalo Blue
12:08
|
|||
I've never known mortality
Til our wearing bodies embraced.
The gravity of my melancholic shade, has never pulled this low.
All I see is blue
What will I be without you?
You saw your death come close
in a dream.
You remained still,
and made of stone.
We were separate in the flesh, just for this era.
Pulsating, two forms, together.
With my every pore
The colorless shores of my body
Unloading blood with every overstayed sense of real
All I see is blue
How long will it be without you?
Waiting has lost its meaning.
Time no longer a promise, but a punishment.
Time promised I would find you.
All fades into blue
I will abandon this temple
Separate myself from flesh.
